Power is back on, and I finally have internet again. We are okay, but many homes, families, and communities around us are not. Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you so much for the emails to check on us... it was a scary day and evening.
Here is a picture of our church, which is just a few miles from us. Due to the damage, we'll be having our Sunday service in the parking lot. So much lost and so much to rebuild.

Thankful that you are okay. I follow your blog, but did not know if you live in an affected area. We here in TN were so fortunate this go 'round; we had had a rainy week which kept our temperatures cooler so the colliding fronts moved further South. I am so sorry for all of the suffering and the lives lost. I am praying that the Christian community will rally around with a great outpouring of love and mercy.
my husband and i were thinking about you yesterday wondering if you and Lia Kate's family were OK (we follow your adoption blogs since we are adopting from China too)
glad to hear you are safe and i hope they are as well.
So glad to learn you and yours are safe. Praying for all those affected from Hong Kong, Kim
So glad to hear from you! Hang in there!
Hi Kelley - I am so sorry you guys are experiencing so much right now - with the adoption hiccups, tornadoes, power outages, etc. Thank you for sharing and being so real on your blog. I think sometimes when we take a moment to sort through our rawest of emotions, God can use that to help us strengthen from the inside out....He really is a pillar of strength in our weakest of moments.
I cannot wait for you to meet your sweet girl...and for her to meet her momma. What a moment that will be, and it WILL be....:)
Much love from Kentucky where, once again, it is raining.
So glad that you are all okay and that everything is coming together for Caroline. I hope to see you when I come to Birmingham in June. Love you Kelley.
