Quick Note

Dear Faithful Blog Readers,

I'm sorry this post is so short and is absent of Grace photos. She's been running a high fever all day from the 5 shots she had yesterday, and I've been pretty sick from something I ate. I am heading to bed, but I promise to get some pics and an update up tomorrow. :)

Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Hi Kelley,
I am Laura Pelletier Smith, I don't know if you remember me but I was friends with your sister at perimeter church and I also worked with you at camp all american and I just wanted to let you and your husband know that I have been praying for your family during this special time, I think this is great that you have decided to adopt and give this sweet little girl a family:)

Kelley, We're praying you and Grace feel much better by now and have a wonderful day tomorrow at appts and exploring. I'm sure it's wonderful with all the other families around. Keep up the great work you and Scott are doing to help her adjust and trust you. Hugs,

Kelley - so sorry to hear that you and Grace are feeling so sick. We are praying for you and Grace and for a quick, miraculous recovery. On a lil side note, we have started a HUGE online petition for the vaccinations and are doing our best to alert congress to stop the madness......Grace is such the example right now of our innocent (brand new to us) children who are undergoing needless shots and effects. So thankful to be following your journey. Praying now that healing is taking place. You probably know, but there is a lil room in White Swan that you can go and get meds for you. Much love from Kentucky

Still praying and thinking of you all countless times each day. I would love to spend some time together when you return home and are "settled" with your precious family. Kelley, your story is an inspiration - truly. I pray you heal quickly and gain strength - both mental and physical. I pray Grace can "warm up" to Scott and that he will know what she needs and how to provide it in a way she accepts. I'm also praying for Carter and the transition when you all return home; and, of course, sweet Grace. Her smile makes me smile!
