....Children's Day!!
What? You had no idea? That June 1st is Happy Children's Day? Me neither. I found out from Caroline! :)
We got an email from the guy who delivered Caroline's care package...the guy who will be our guide and translator in her province. He was giving us her measurements, and he had just talked to her the night before. It was wild to be "one degree" of contact away from her! She told him to tell us that she's so excited to meet her new family, and that she wanted to wish Happy Children's Day to everyone. We were beyond thrilled to know that she is excited to meet us. We know she's probably nervous and scared, but to know that she is looking forward to seeing us at all is huge! We are just counting the days until we can travel.
Our paperwork is currently at the US Embassy in China, and we're waiting for them to issue Article 5. Once that is picked up and delivered to the CCCWA, we'll just be waiting for Travel Approval. Please pray these steps can be expedited.
We're getting close!
